Spotlight on Arsenicum Album

Arsenicum Album is a beautiful remedy from the mineral kingdom.

It is one of the remedies in my first aid kit and I find many uses for my family, friends and clients.

Arsenicum album is helpful for food poisoning, vomiting & diarrhea, hay fever and cold and flu.

A person needing Arsenicum Album is usually anxious, restless and has burning pains. Severe abdominal cramping. Extremely weak and tired but mentally agitated and restless.

This is the first remedy I think of during stomach flu or food poisoning.

The person needing this remedy may say things like I feel like I have been poisoned. They are very chilly and usually, the worst time for them is between 12 am-2 am. Stomach flu where they vomit and have diarrhea often at the same time, they are feeling and looking very ill. They take small sips of water often.

If any of your family have gastro - you can give the rest of the family Arsenicum Album as prevention. Whenever we are in touch with people who had gastro we take Arsenicum Album, it saved us many times, when in contact with sick people.

Arsenicum Album is called traveller remedy if you go to a new country it may have an influence on your gut biome. Arsenicum Album taking daily may remedy this problem.

I am often in Arsenicum state during the flu, how do I know that I am in this state?

I can’t lie down until everything around me is clean, neat and ordered I may feel very sick but I need to mop the floor and clean everything around the bed before I can rest.

Other uses for Arsenicum Album :

Hay Fever Thin, irritating nasal discharge; sneezing from irritation in the nose; eyes itching and burning; the child may be wheezing symptoms are worse in the open air.
Fever-Restless, agitated but weak. Alternating hot and cold. Desires frequent small amounts of water. Worse after midnight. Better from warmth.
Influenza-Copious discharge from the nose. Restlessness with great weakness and prostration. Difficult breathing. Scanty frothy expectoration. Shortness of breath with restlessness. Cough wheezing. Burning of coldness in the chest. Better from sitting up.

Rare and peculiar: Wants body warm but head cold.

Food poisoning. Vomiting & diarrhea. Hay fever and cold.

Affinities: Mind. Nerves. Mucous membrane. Skin

For home use Arsenicum Album 30C is sufficient.
